Today was our fourth day filming we all agreed to meet up at Tottenham bus station at 3pm. As we would be filming the car scene in Edmonton using our actors dads car. It was difficult to film the birds eye view of the car driving as the window in the flat was not high enough, however, we tried our best to make it look like it is a birds eye view shot. We didn't check the weather as we did not need to as the scene was filmed inside the car so it didn't matter if it rained, which it did but was not a problem.
We had our storyboards with us and we ensured that we stuck
to our storyboards strictly and precisely to ensure that everything was filmed
to a high standard and as a result, we did not take very long to film. We all
had team roles (listed in a post below) in which we all stuck to. Overall, I
would say that it was a very productive day of filming, we are hoping to film
more footage soon.

Filming day (3)
Today was our third day of filming. We used the photography studio to film the studio scene. As the photography studio had a black backdrop we couldn't film the silhouette shots which was unfortunate. We used the flasheads to suit our preference of lighting. After a while, we had to leave the photography studio as other students booked it so we didn't finish all our shots, however, we decided to finish off the shots that were left in the TV studio. In the TV studio, there was a projector and a laptop, we came up with the idea of using the projector to show a nice colourful backdrop from the internet to compliment Sarah's (main actor) outfit instead of the silhouette shots. Overall, I would say that it was a very productive day, even though we had problems, we used our initiative and improvised to resolve the issues and as a result, came up with a better resolution than what was actually planned. We are hoping to film more footage soon.

Editing (day 1)
Since we weren't planning on filming today, we decided to go to the editing suite. We uploaded all our footage from the memory card from the camera onto the Macs and made a folder and saved all the files on the folder and then uploaded the files on Final Cut Pro. We dragged all the files onto the sidebar on Final Cut Pro.We looked over our footage. We also downloaded our song, Jealous Type, on the Mac. We are hoping to start editing properly next media lesson.

Filming day (2)
Today was our second day of filming. We decided to film the Hyde Park scene and a few other scenes. We decided not to use Hyde Park as it is far and time is limited and also, there is not much scenery just a lot of greenery. So instead of using Hyde Park, we decided to use Olympic Park as it is local and has a lot of nice scenery which is what we wanted. Before making our way to Olympic Park, me and my group went to a firework shop to buy sparklers to use for the Olympic Park scene (last scene) and then we travelled to our location. Before leaving for our location, we checked the weather to see whether it would rain, we were pleased to see that it wouldn't be and this was the case. The lighting of the location was not as bad as Saturday which was an advantage as we want to get the lighting of our video perfect. We decided to film near the trees as the scenery looked nice. We had problems with lighting the sparklers due to it being very windy in the location however, after several times of trying to light them up we finally got them working. We lit them at the perfect time as it was becoming dark which meant that the sparklers would show up on the cameras much more nicer and brighter. We also decided to film the sparklers bit behind a stone background in the park and under a bridge to give our music video an urban feel to it and also we wanted the area to be isolated so that all the focus can be on the actor and the sparklers. OverallI would say that this was another productive day of filming as we quickly got the swing of things as we had already filmed for a whole day on Saturday and also got a lot of filming done. We are hoping to film more footage soon. Here are some attached pictures of the day taken by our phones:

Filming (day 1)
Today was our first day of filming. We decided to shoot Sarah's scenes where she is the only actor in the scenes. We checked the weather beforehand, and was pleased to see that it would not be raining, which was accurate. We all met at a specific time at a specific place and then we went off to our chosen locations. The locations for today were Oxford street, Jubilee Bridge and One new change, The Roof Terrace. We had our storyboards with us and we ensured that we stuck to our storyboards strictly and precisely to ensure that everything was filmed to a high standard. The lighting of the locations were a bit dark and dull because it was really cloudy which was unfortunate, however, we adjusted the settings to suit our preference. We all had team roles (listed in a post below) in which we all stuck to. Overall, I would say it was a very productive day of filming. We are hoping to do more filming next week. Here are the pictures taken by our phones showing me and my group in action and also the locations.

Inspiration for our music video (2)
Tove lo-Not on drugs
Me and my group were inspired by the colour smoke bombs and sparkler's it this video. Although it has no direct link to the lyrics we thought that it would show another side to the actress which is shows her independent, fun and happy side she is able to enjoy herself .She is not jealous of any other girl. The song is also very upbeat which means it will fit in perfectly with the video. The scene will be edited so that it will be in slow motion and will give it a more thrilling and exciting effect. In contrast to the beginning which is black and white and has a more relaxed and calm setting.
Inspirations for music our video (1)
Beyoncé broken hearted girl
when were annotating our lyrics we saw "nights like this I be cruising." we thought it would be appropriate that this scene was based in a car at night. so we looked for similar artist who start off their music video in a car. One of a our team members came up with Beyoncé broken hearted girl, it starts of with a birds eye view of the car parking. Then a close up of her inside the car. we chose this because similar to Beyoncé our song has a urban feel. However in our music video we conveyed a different message. In Beyoncé's broken hearted girl she was crying. However in our video our actress will be relaxed as this song is about her being independent and not being jealous of the "other girl he is with". Similar to Beyoncé's video we will have a close up to show her emotions of being carefree and happy as she is "cruising". we will also be using the black and white as it sets the tone of a laid back atmosphere.
