The final album I will be analysing is Beyoncé's 4 album the image on the front is very effective low angle medium shot. It is of of her looking up her arms are covering part of her name but we can still make out the words. I think the low angle shot is very effective because it is makes her look bigger and more powerful. The name of the album written at the bottom right hand side of the cover we can clearly see that the album is called 4, despite this being an unusual lay out. This is a very simple cover is nothing is going on in the background of the front cover and the font is in bold clear writing. The colour scheme is black for the artist is wearing a fur vest the same colour as the title which shows the link. On the back the artist is not facing us it is a long shot of her looking over the edge of the balcony the image is on the left hand side and the writing is on the right hand side. Which again emphasises a sense of power.
Maraam, three well chosen CD digipack case studies, linking well to your own ideas and plans. You discuss the images, this is rather descriptive and there is room for more detail in terms of mise-en-scene such as props and location. Fonts, colours and layout are touched on but are not covered with much depth here. Analysis should also include the booklet within the CD.
